letzgoshop Hi Jennifer, I just saw you rating and comment. The skirt has never been worn and has been sitting in my closet for a while. It’s wool and when you steam wool in my experience it will give off a smell especially when it’s 100% virgin wool. I’m very sorry you were not completely happy I’ve never had a bad rating on PM this was very disappointing to see. Sue
