jmljpl @iamwarrior Hi..yes it is an Italian Greyhound. I have another 9 month old named Oliver and this one is Odie. I adopted him from the Veterinarian I work for when he was 9 weeks old. (He is 14 now) He had a broken leg & they were going to euthanize him. 😢 So I got him & got his leg fixed. At the time I had just gotten a 8 week old IG. He is no longer with me though.

He was going to be euthanized because he broke his lug and the owners couldn't afford the surgery so they signed him over to me and I had the surgery done to get his leg fixed. 💗

I read about your medical bills (not to be nosey!) & I would hate for you to hold it & somebody could buy it before me for the price you have it listed for. Unfortunately I know what you are going through..somewhat. I had Thyroid cancer last year & even with good insurance I still had a ton of medical bills. They just kept coming & coming. It's crazy how much they charge for chemo & radiation.

knitnat I read your story about Odie. So glad you adopted him😍. He looks like a sweetie. The first dog I adopted was 1 1/2. We had him until he was 14 1/2. Nothing better than adopting. This is Buckner. Buck or Bucky we call him. Adopted him at 3 or 4 mo. He's now 2 1/2. He is awesome. Great character!

I did have two step children but miracles happen ( wished I wasn't in my 30's more energy I don't have lol). But I did. Possession mean nothing if you can enjoy them with the ones you love. This case is terminal brain nothing else to do but I've fought 2 1/2 years and I will till my last breath. 🙏everyone needs prayer and blessings both I wish for you

jmljpl @troslie omg really!? Where I live nobody knows what kind of dogs they are. They always think they are Jack Russell's. I work for a veterinarian & when Odie was 8 weeks old a client brought him in to be euthanized because he broke his leg in 2 places. I asked if she would relinquish ownership to me & I took him to the specialist to get his leg fixed. Two Saturdays ago he past away & I can't bring myself to take his pic down.

You must have been confused waking up in the hospital! I have had my share with hospital stays. I had to have my thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer. I'm so self conscious now because if not having a thyroid & treatments & meds I am so bloated & gained weight.

jmljpl @kimmando oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that! I don't mind telling you. It's a long story but I went to my Dr to have the lump checked & was told it wasn't anything. Had my yearly exam & she seen it right away & got me an appt w/ an Endocrinologist who did biopsy & got the call. Surgery took longer than expected cuz it had grown around vocal cords. Didn't have a voice for a bit but it's back. When I'm done w/ radiation I'll have s scan in 6 months.

jmljpl @kimmando I feel like crap cuz I have to wait for all the thyroid hormones to get out of my body. For the rest of my life I have to have my thyroid be lower than normal cuz it can cause cancer to come back. It did get into some lymph nodes. I wish I would of listened to myself & not my Dr when he told me not to worry about it. I have pretty much read everything possible on thyroid & never realized it controlled ever cell in your body.

I work in the Vet field & a girl brought him in for "limping" & his leg was broken in 3 places. She was going to euthanize him & I had a 8 month IG so I asked if she would relinquish ownership to me & thank god she did. Got his leg fixed & he had to have it plated. Then removed & plated again because he was still growing.

jmljpl @meluverik75 Thank you so much! I'm looking for fall/winter clothes. I've gained a lot of weight so I'm very self conscious so I just like oversized shirts in a large. Or at least loose fitting. I recently had surgery to have my thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer & the treatments & meds make me look even bigger. I'm not suppose to go to public places right now so I haven't been to a mall in a long time. There are a couple different brands of jeans I know the size I fit into now

I get weary hair sometimes here. Christmas was "different" lets say but nice & quiet. First year without my sister and my mom was sick. Just stayed home. New Years was good. MJ’s Bronzer: described as a muted, medium-dark brown w/ neutral-to-warm, red undertones (but not red red or orange orange) gives a very natural, sun-kissed look & mostly matte finish; creamy but very fine, jet-milled powder; applies smoothly w/out getting blotchy or going on too heavily & has good pigmentation, w/ buildable to full coverage. Consistency: smooth, wears about 8.5 hrs.
