I’m telling you this bc I fear they may have only sold counterfeit items in this closet. I’m sorry if I’m infringing on your page but I hate when people get duped. notoriousjeg @jessalicious_99 What did you do ab your item? How did you go about getting your money back? Or report them w Poshmark & inform them of the situation? I’m clueless so any help would be greatly appreciated bc I don’t want this & I def want my money back! Scam artist! Also, have you contacted the seller & does he or she know they are selling counterfeits? I imagine they are aware. It is blinding how obvious it is w quality & im not even buying them from some knock off place or vendor to resell.

jessalicious_99 @notoriousjeg @notoriousjeg and report her to Poshmark ASAP!! Go into your purchases and click on the item you bought from them. At the bottom it will say “problems/order inquiry” click that. Then click “order not described” and the click “item is not authentic”. It’ll take you to a page where it will request pictures and a description.

jessalicious_99 @notoriousjeg I would just emphasize how blindingly obvious this is a fake. The quality. The colors. Take a picture of the batch code on the back. I entered the batch code into google and immediately dhgate products popped up. I hope this helps. I’m sure pm will get it figured out. They’re really good about this sort of thing.

britbaby27 @notoriousjeg change your rating for the palette you bought. By doing that, you will help so many people. Keep it 5 stars so other people can see it. But type that it was fake and that everything in her closet is fake! Do not change the 5 stars because then other people can’t see it (it’s dumb).

britbaby27 @notoriousjeg of course you’re welcome! I didn’t get scammed thankfully. I’m a makeup junkie so I can usually tell just by looking at them that they’re fake. But here’s a couple tips: if they’re mad cheap, beware. Real ones can be cheap too so that’s not the only sign. But check ALL the seller’s listings and look for comments asking if they’re fake or complaints. That seller didn’t answer anyone and deleted & reposted

britbaby27 @notoriousjeg well Posh has their hands full with replicas. They just can’t keep up with all of them. But just keep reporting her closet and her listings. Go to the dots in right hand corner, then press “report” then press “replica” you can do it as many times as you want. I’ve also emailed Posh about other closets so it’s on their radar. The more people know, the fast lee her closet will get shut down. I’ve seen it happen, she won’t last for much longer!! 🎉 I’m sorry this happened to you!!

tmangum1990 I saw your review on that palette you bought I reported her over a week ago. I commented on one of the ABH Norvina palette saying it was fake but she took it down and everyone kept buying them. If they did their research they would know that 1: the palettes she selling are too cheap 2: she’s only been on Poshmark for less than 2 weeks and 3: she had no reviews yet. Sorry about what happened to you I always do my research and compare fake vs real on YouTube and google

notoriousjeg @jessalicious_99 hey girl! So there’s no batch codes on this specific palette & I’ve researched it to death online ab the dupes. And although it looks like the DHGate palette vs the authentic, it doesn’t come across that way as clearly as it needs to in my iPhone 6s pictures.

notoriousjeg @jessalicious_99 It also doesn’t have tell-tale trademark fake features as does a Kat Van D, i.e. batch code #’s, font size & color, misspelled shadow names, missing features. How can I prove it’s a fake when it is indeed a fake? This girl robbed me!! I’m devastated. Any other ideas, ways, solutions to show the inauthenticity or inaccuracies of a fake? HELP!

jessalicious_99 @notoriousjeg my case was just approved. I think if you just file a claim they would be aware that others have done the same. Her page no longer exists. All the items are gone. If you don’t have a batch code I don’t think it will be an issue.

jessalicious_99 @notoriousjeg have you gone to YouTube and typed in the palette you got followed by “fake”? There’s tons of videos out there featuring fake videos. That could help. Also you could just say you believe this to be a fake as her show page is gone and a lot of others have claimed their items were fake too.

Unfortunately, since she already has the funds, Posh can’t take them back from her. I really don’t think they’re gonna do anything. Even tho they totally should just give you credits or something. I don’t really pay attention to batch codes bc fakes have them also, even tho yours didn’t. (Con’t..)

britbaby27 @notoriousjeg people always ask for batch codes but that’s not the way to tell the difference, you reply just have to check out the seller’s love notes and how long they’ve been on Posh. And it’s usually obvious just by looking at them, the shadow colors are off. I’ve bought fake makeup off the bay before (when I first got into makeup) and just had to take it as loss😢

britbaby27 @notoriousjeg but if you keep emailing Posh, they might do something about it. Just do what @jenniferonate05 told you to. Look up fake videos and screenshot the difference. But Posh already knows she was selling fakes so proving it isn’t really the problem. The issue is getting Posh to refund you somehow so I would just keep bugging them!

I have had to open about 10 cases on here, myself, in a year & won them all! No scruples with some of these people. Sometimes you can't tell by just a pic. Sorry you had such a bad experience. Deb
