Hi Iliana,
I am not sure if guinea pigs will turn the houses over. I make them with cardboard but I have made one with the heaviest cardboard for someone on Etsy as well. She had 2 piggies and was worried as well. I never heard the piggies moved the house around to be honest.
The thing is I cannot make the HP house in heavier cardboard, but the English cottage would work. I am also working on a French Patisserie at this moment, that design would work as well with the heavier board.
