hoosier_1994 Daniel, if you want to make the orange converse for the way you want you can do what I do which is to use inserts. It makes the size 8 fit like other 8s. The inserts I use that work perfectly are the following from Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Tri-Stride-Insole/26524706 The only other option, which is why they were made larger is to wear two thick pairs of socks.

hoosier_1994 @dfayfar I used to wear Converse 7s, but developed plantar fasciitis from the flat soles. Believe it or not, switching to size 8s and use the $6 Walmart insoles, I was cured of it and made regular converse ideal for all day wear and lots of walking. They worked perfect on a trip to NYC.
