I never had the AE bohos, is it mostly AE you are looking for? I liked the AE hipsters when they were still like 98-99% cotton. My absolute favorites are the London/VS hipsters from 2006-2010 and the Banana Republic Boot Cuts from the same time. Those I can both do sz 8, if you had any. I feel your pain, but keep up the hunt! I find less and less these days, but get a good find once in a while.

7833 is the AE Artist Flare. Looking for reg. Possibly long, but not short. The ebay seller Vintage Jeans USA might be a good place to snoop around if you look on that site as well. Ebay seems to be moving towards a "store" type thing though, while Posh is still mostly what you have laying in the closet. Both have their advantages. ThredUp is great as well and has really good prices mostly.

Oh, sorry about ThredUp. I've had such good luck with them. Posh is the best for the hard to find stuff, you're right about that. Not sure how new you are here still, but I learned with Posh, if it has been listed a while, (cuz some listings are like months old) send a message to the seller and see if they are still alive. I learned the hard way after buying things and then having orders cancelled when they do not ship or respond. Good experiences otherwise, just check on the older listings

And the stinky jeans, try washing in white vinegar. Add several cups to the washer and run the cycle. Won't hurt anything and is really good at getting smells out!

7833 is thicker than most AE jeans now, but not like original Levis or anything. They were a bit on the thick side, but they were like 98-99% cotton and only 1-2% spandex. Nothing like the stretchy stuff now that just wears out quick, in a bad way, like socks do.
Yes, check on people with the older listings! I feel safe with listings only a few days old, but even then sometimes.......And try the vinegar, I swear by it. I've dumped a gallon in. Cleans the washer if you have hard water too.

That is enough to make you want to cry! If they are that bad, If your washer soaks, let them soak in the vinegar wash a 1/2 hour or so. If not, soak them in a bucket outside with some warm water and the vinegar. Then wash them in the vinegar in the washer and whatever detergent you use. Hang'em outside to dry if you can and they should be good. Let me know how it works on them!

I had some boxes of clothes in a basement get wet and full of mildew and they stunk! I threw out what I really did not want and did the rest with the vinegar. It worked on that.

I don't really know how all this works😪 but is there any faster, more efficient way to "follow" people who "follow" you other than going 1 by 1 by 1 & clicking "follow" & then going back to the main screen & selecting the next..wash rinse repeat.. its absurdly time consuming🤕🤕

Hey firecracker! Sorry for the delay. The ones you got are the same style, but very different. The ones I need are Stretch 99% cotton. The "American Eagle" stitched inside the back waist is in script, and the style stitched into the waistband just says "Artist". I'm also hoping to find them in a dark wash. thanks so much for looking though!

Just seeing this now, I think I missed it. Inseam 30-32 inches works. For these they sit lower, so like 17 inches across the waistband, give or take. I know the 7833 in 10 reg works though, so if you find'em, they're it!

That may just work! The size 8 I have has a waist that stretches to 18" when I grab either side and stretch it. Different people measure differently though. 30.5 inch inseam will work. I get them in different lengths to wear with different height shoes. 30.5 works with anything flat. Thanks so much for looking! Let me know when they get to you and we can arrange something.
