peito Many thanks for the purchase. Please let me know how they work out. I'm curious. My mother says indeed her back pain goes away when wearing them. She has several pairs, mostly new or barely worn. Not sure why she doesn't wear them. Maybe out of style or she also doesn't do much else that she knows is good for her. Maybe it's like exercise equipment, many just want it more than use it. :)

cathypai I have major foot problems and have had to live in custom orthotics since 1999. The problem is some muscle groups stop working because the orthotic does all the work so wearing rocker bottom shoes help keep them activated. MBT's are the only rocker bottom shoes I've found that have enough lateral support. They do sometimes leave my feet and legs feeling tired and it can be tricky wearing them when I have to carry things or go up and down stairs.

cathypai Maybe your mom doesn't want to deal with the hassles of wearing them even though they help - exactly like you said. A treadmill sounds like a great idea for the winter but became a clothes drying rack most of the time when I had one. :)
