Welcome! I'm Catharine, a retired nurse practitioner. I have deep roots in New England, especially Maine. I also spent many years in Southern New Mexico, and still miss the desert as much as I miss the ocean. I am a Poshmark Ambassador, and am very proud of my quick shipping and excellent rating. cuddleupcrochet Lol I'm a Kathleen and I always wished I was a Catherine...when I had my daughter I wanted to name her Catherine but I thought people would think I named her after myself...so I named her after her grandmother's Irene and Opal Corrine...so I chose Corrine...lol when she was old enough to have an opinion she said she wished I had named her Catherine...the joke was on me

catharinez @kathleenlent That’s fine! I’ve made my little “signs” two different ways. First I tried making a facebook post by adding text to one of their colorful but simple backgrounds. Once I was happy with it I would post it, take a screen shot, and them immediately delete it.

catharinez Usually it took a few tries to get the text just right in order for it to fit in the space allowed by Poshmark. I don’t think I’m using any of those right now. Maybe I’ll post one and add it right after my meet the posher photo so that you can see it.

catharinez My other method has been the free PicCollage app. Using it is NOT intuitive but I’ve managed to come up with some useable “ads”. I try to choose one of my travel photos that isn’t too busy and then add text in a clear area. There are probably much better apps out there but I don’t want to learn another one. (Not that I’ve truly learned how to use this one!) You should definitely ask other sellers whose artwork you like what apps or programs they use.

catharinez In terms of grandchildren, I’ve made peace with the fact we will most likely not have any. Our two sons and one DIL are very work/profession oriented, much like yours. Both boys went far away away for college/graduate school and never looked back. I guess that’s what happens when you raise independent children. They are wonderful sons, productive members of society, and have a strong sense of social justice - I can’t ask for more. 😁
