@ambnp1 So Poshmark needs your email to connect you if someone buys one of your items so they can send you the shipping label. The contact information is just in case other people on your social media networks join Poshmark. The contact information isn’t as necessary but I would make sure your email is well connected. ☺️ Hope That helps.

I get messages from users giving me their email address to contact them outside of the poshmark app. This seems odd to me.

@ambnp1 OH!!! Yeah don’t answer them! Poshmark insures all packages and transactions are secure. Encourage your buyers to go through Poshmark since it’s the safest way to buy and sell. ☺️ Hope that helped. Thanks so much for asking!
