calistastyles Hi Bridget! You purchased my vintage 80's prairie dress. I decided to give it quick handwash with unscented laundry soap so it would be nice and fresh before I sent it out. I noticed that there are flaws (one small cut in back of the the inner slip liner & small hole close by smaller than a dime). It is not visible from the outside and I only noticed it because I flipped the dress inside out to make sure it was dry before shipping.

calistastyles If you would like me to add a pic in a dummy listing so you can see for yourself and decide whether you still want it. I want to make sure you are happy with your purchase so please let me know if you still want the dress. It is a beautiful vintage piece -- it has traveled with me for several moves from the east coast to the west coast and back again. Thank you in advance and I apologize but it has been hanging in my closet and I just did not notice the tear in the inner slip.

bridget875 Hi again- I need this asap. Since the flaws are not visible I am okay with you sending it. I need it for a performance and I have to see how it looks with other costumes. Can you send it overnight mail and I will be happy to pay the extra $. If you think its fair to give me a bit of a discount for the flaws I certainly would appreciate it...But Whether you want to or not I still need the overnight mail. Thank you

bridget875 Hi calistastyles - I am going to have to cancel the order if I don't hear from you as it has to be shipped and I have to have it Thursday latest. Please advise. I have a rehearsal in a couple hours and I will be away from access to you til tonight 10pm my time.

calistastyles @bridget875 I can ship it out so it goes out today but I have to use the shipping label that Poshmark provides that is the only way they can make sure that the package has been received and the funds release. I will ask at the post office if there is a way to upgrade the shipping without going outside of Poshmark.

calistastyles @bridget875 I am sorry racing to the closest post office that was still open and I made I missed the cutoff by 2 minutes. Unfortunately because of the way Poshmark is set up unless you tag me @calistastyles I don't get any notification of your message. Also the way Poshmark is set up I can't upgrade the shipping label to overnight. I could have dropped the package in the box and I still can but I do not feel comfortable doing that because of your time constraints.

calistastyles If you want me to cancel the order let me know because I will have to do it and mark the reason as damaged. I wish there was a more effective way to communicate when there is an issue because this way is not very efficient.

calistastyles I don't think you can do it on your end because while Poshmark likes for sellers to mail within 2 days sellers have up to 5 days to ship before the buyer can cancel BUT I can cancel it on my end if I cancel and mark the item damaged. I am sorry that this has been so complicated and I wish I had seen your response sooner :(

bridget875 @calistastyles Its my first time buying on Poshmark. Im sorry I didn't know how to do it right. I didn't know that there is no expedited shipping. I can't risk getting it only not to use it. It wasn't for my personal use, but as a costume. I guess I better cancel, and you''ll have to say it is damaged. But I will keep looking at your shop! And thanks for racing to the post office to help me out -- I appreciate it!!

calistastyles @bridget875 I did additional research online and I found out that Out that I can upgrade shipping through the post office and keep the same tracking but I will I’need to confirm in person at the post office.

calistastyles @bridget875 if I can expedite the shipping so that you would receive it on Thursday would that even be in time for you? I would have to upgrade to express mail and I am not sure if the cost — do you want me to find out or would you prefer I cancel the order?
