I am soooooo glad you like the boots (I am mostly the buyer on this site, not the seller...so it feels good I did a good job with selling).
They are very good quality and therefore will last...BUT, if I may suggest/remind you that "suede and rain/water" are not friends, lolololol....(since you mentioned you are in the "Rain" state, lol)
I think there is a spray you can get to protect from water....

Also, just FYI, if you do get water or other minor stains, you can clean it yourself, rather than taking it to the cleaner (but please note that it's just a friendly suggestion and for minor stains; please use your judgement :) lol).....you can use a stiff brush or extra fine sanding paper to get the stain off.
Using a brush is also a way to clean suede items but make sure you brush it in one direction (otherwise the dirt/dust doesn't come out if you go both directions).
