Meet the Posher

Hi I am Lin Hightower-Zsedely. Part I Today my life consists of being a Professor Emeritus of Art and Fashion. I teach online and in different countries around the world. I work as designer for Fair Trade artisan groups in different countries to preserve their cultural crafts in textiles, weaving, embroidery, screen printing, as well as other crafts such as jewelry. I began in fashion and textiles as a 4 year old child sewing and weaving with my mother and grandmother. I was selling potholders I made to all the neighbors by 5 years old. Later I would become the first college graduate in my family. My mom was excited that I would be a businesses or math major. Me I wanted to be an art major, so with my dad's encouragement I did. I worked my way through school as a single mom. I eventually finished my Masters and Doctoral Degree. I have taught art early learning, K-12 and later college and university positions. My dad, originally a farmer, believed American is the land of opportunity. I love to dance, travel and more. Never give up on your dreams. In Fashion always pick the Look over Brand name.
