If you find a hair or two (which I do try to prevent!) please know they aren't from some unruly, savage beasts. They're from one of the three sweetest cats ever! The two white girls narrowly survived a house fire in which we lost everything (thanks to some super amazing fireman and vets!) Then we added the black cat to the crew and he keeps us on our toes. We love all of them dearly! We try to minimize shedding. Sometimes we win that battle, sometimes we lose. But, we love them the same!!

frockexchange @mickaleechen thank you. I lost my white one on Thanksgiving. She fought a valiant battle against heart failure for 2.5 years. I loved her harder than I’ve ever loved an animal in my life. We spent pretty much our life savings on her care and would have begged, borrowed, and stolen if more money would have kept her here longer. But eventually there were just no more options. I don’t have the heart to change out pictures. I have to just leave it like this.

frockexchange @mickaleechen I did add a feral tabby boy to the house a few months ago. I needed a new cat like I need a hole in my head lol. But he needed me and he has blossomed into such a sweet boy and rewarded me tenfold for saving him. The boys are getting along fine but My blue eyed girl isn’t so sure about him lol.

mickaleechen @frockexchange I’m sorry for your loss. It’s always hard to say goodbye to a special animal like that. I have had some of those in my life and they become your closest companions. I didn’t change my lock screen for a year after my last cat passed away. It was tough.

mickaleechen @frockexchange That’s lovely that you were able to rescue another cat and that he’s at least getting along with your boy cat. I’m sure your blue eyed sweetie will come around eventually. I can’t go to the animal shelter for that very reason. I’d come home with a new cat every day. 😂

frockexchange @mickaleechen we went to the animal shelter a while back to drop off donations and my sixteen year old daughter swore she would never take me back there. I cried and fretted over this one cat for days. 😩 I am not tough enough for the shelter!
