poshfashiongal Been reading all your posts about LV authentication. What is your opinion on pricing a 'used' LV bag? Assuming the wear is negligible, how much of a reduction from the new price should someone pay for a used bag?

bhwardrobe @poshfashiongal Hello Ann! I can't give you a definite answer on how you should price your LV items because it's all up to you. I determine the pricing on my LV items based on several factors from most important to least: Demand (popularity), Supply (how many people selling the same item), Style, Condition, and Extras (dustbag, dustbox, tags, lock & keys (if applicable), and strap (if applicable)). If you are considering to list your LV item, you can always price it very high and state that you are open to offers. You can negotiate from there. Let me know which LV item you are considering to buy or sell. :) I hope that helps!

Thank you for replying so quickly...well I'm fairly new to poshmark, and I wanted to post some items to try and feel out the site, however I do not use Paypal and respect poshmarks rules, I tried to post at the top of my closet NO Paypal, but all I see is people asking to use pp, is that the norm here? Also, along with your beliefs I tried to price my item accordingly to how much wear, what extras come with items, current retail price, etc. , however I feel a little disheartened when someone offers me $1200 for a bag that is well worth over $2000. I am an avid LV collector and it looks like you are too, so as you know LV has had three price increases this year! Is that also the norm in this site? I guess to be lowballed? I'm sorry for long message, just trying to figure this all out and be as polite as possible :)

bhwardrobe @chinh The Blanc Corail tends to "yellow" when exposed to the sun a lot. I'm not sure about the Rose but I think that color will last longer than white.

nym87 @bhwardrobe Not sure if this is the right place to put it, but be careful about the speedy you just bought in DE. I think the seller stole her pictures from other auctions/seller's page. I was looking at her espadrilles and those pictures were from another seller on eBay.

I took my chances with the Poshmark authentication process as it'll protect me and especially with the date code picture up. I doubt there is a fake bag with the same date code. I'm sure Poshmark will catch it if it's a different bag if she stole those photos. Thank you so much for your warning, and I'll refrain from buying another from her for now.

I was looking at her other items and they all have picture filters. And I noticed that in one picture she has nail polish while in the other she didn't have any on. So I got suspicious and decided quickly google the espadrilles I wanted to get. Sure enough all her pictures were stolen.
