She’s just over 3 yrs now Video 3-10 w brother visit her story: 1/19/22 Someone threw her & brother out near us (W happy ending). We’re rural & Idk how she found us! She was sitting on snow on our driveway howling. We warmed her up & Looked 4 others until brother found—we realized they were tossed! our farm community searched 4 more no luck. She was skinny 6 lbs & her bones stuck out. I thought we’d name her Elsa from Frozen but family decided Bailey Not long after 5 more pups were found 😭why do ppl do this? Breaks my heart & but homes were found for all!🎉 We have play dates w brother Atlas who lives down the road She tries 2 befriend cat -C C doesn’t care 4 new addition Playing is her style! We added a 2nd cat, Princess, who was my mothers Pics looking at horses & cows out windows 1st truck ride she watched w/o hiding 2-21 Pic a play date w her brother See her hiding under bed she had to crawl out now can’t fit Life has been about chewing everything & showing her feisty side. She’s stubborn! she’s scared of loud noise, Large animals & vehicles —truck & garbage truck even trash cans.😕We walk her daily😀 She looks choc lab -she’s bloodhound & bulldog By DNA. She follow scents & will go miles w/o stop! She is very strong (can pull us all over) & determined to get 2 it! She tried to help me up when I fell very impressed w her strength & character may train for assist dog Her Coat is turning black/brown now w curl happy 2 have this fur baby 2 love! Blessed 🌻🌻🌻

mrsmcrz@grace4d first and foremost, I'm so sorry to hear that your mother had passed away, My sincere condolences, hoping all is peaceful at her time of passing ❤️ I'm sure Bailey does want to play with two cats now, still kind of a puppy, inquisitive little Choco dogs aren't they?🤣 Was in very serious accident last August, medically and physically it has taken me down, especially dealing with attorneys since it was not our fault. 🫣

grace4d@shopgirlmt I also don’t understand how anyone can harm an animal but especially the babies! I hope those ppl are rewarded in full 1 day! Bailey is so precious & very smart. She continues to have a fear of trucks & I can’t get her to walk up the driveway - I know this treatment affected her. The vet said she was likely 6 weeks old when found. We spent a few days looking 4 other puppies- none- we hope. Thank you so much 4 ur care & love too & 4 stopping by! 🐶🌻♥️🐱

shopgirlmt@grace4d Oh, I agree… And I would love to be the one to give those people their reward! Thank you for all the love and kindness you give to our wonderful little fur babies. I’ve got one that struggles every time I turn on the oven. We bought her a weighted blanket because something about it scares her and so we wrap her up each time we turn it on. That’s not normal behavior and I too would like to run into whoever hurt her and reward them :-)

I firmly believe we will answer to a higher power one day for our stewardship of these pure souls. it's rewarding but very heartbreaking. so many have definitely reserved their place in hell for their treatment of the innocent. #adoptdontshop

grace4d@xanadutn she visited other fur babies Saturday and played hard! Then it snowed yesterday and she loves playing in the snow! Precious! I didn’t have my cell w me 4 pics) as it takes 2 hands to keep her on leash - she’s very strong! I fell Thursday on a hillside slope and she actually tried to pull me up! That’s good because I have vertigo and neurological issues.. she’s my girl❤️

A neighbor took her brother named him Atlas & there were a few others that said they’d take either - this after we all spent 2 days in the snow looking for paw prints to see if there were more puppies & there weren’t. Just the 2. I loved meeting my new neighbors & finding out all of them are animal lovers! Yay!

grace4d@xanadutn we heard from the animal shelter that 5 more puppies were turned in. They look exactly like my girl in coloring & size. At least they (anonymous) turned them in & not in the woods! I’m told they have people already claiming them! I’m happy they will be ok! Still upset w ppl who do this! My girl is so scared of big trucks and anything loud..

I fell last week while walking her (our hillside property) and she actually tried to pull me up! She could be like a service dog except she’s all puppy & she’s definitely therapeutic!🌻💜

unbehaved@grace4d yes our dogs do the same 2 are mixes of some kind, then we have a black German Shepard and A chihuahua that’s 17 years old, is blind now, no teeth but still bosses the big dogs around. She just sleeps a lot these days. I keep taking her to the vet to make sure she’s not in any pain and the vet said oh heck no she’s still fisty.so she just might make it to her 18 birthday in April! Oh and her name is April🤦🏼‍♀️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

grace4d@unbehaved I love chihuahuas! I’ve had 6 at various times. I had Blue-boy he passed a year ago at 20 years old. His sisters were age 18 & 19 when I lost them. Blind & nearly all deaf - they did well even w that! Hubby said no to more small dogs for awhile so Bailey finding us was perfect! I’m used to smaller tho, lol. This one thinks she’s still 6 lbs instead of 25😂

kreativekristen@grace4d I ve been learning a lot on line, like doodles are expensive, but if a breeder had a large littler and the puppies get to the ganglion stage ( about 14 weeks) then they sell them for cheaper, I don’t drive so that limits me but have found that getting to know the vets and hair grooming places , they here about these adoptions…

grace4d@mrsmcrz just the one paw. Not easily seen is a straight white line running under her throat into her front area of the chest - (which looks like a butterfly). Vet says she looks like chocolate lab but tested as 60% blood hound. Either way she’s ours!🤗 She’s so precious and getting so big! Thank you for checking in on her🐾🌻🐾

grace4d@mrsmcrz I’ve actually called her that before! So much fun. The vet said she was a little older than we thought based on her teeth. Placed her at 7 months old so those first pics show her at only 6 lbs at around 3 months old which is just so sad —but she is obv fine now and since we adopted her Jan 19. She’s so strong she can pull me up w the leash & harness! 😀🐾🌻🐾

grace4d@menageatrice yes she is quite the terror on paper & shoes & electronics! My poor iPad was the latest catch! 😂 then she looks at me w those eyes! She really is expressive as urs is. If properly trained she’d do well as a service dog bc she needs a job! Then I could use her to help me balance! I’d love to see ur fur baby & assistant! They are amazing!🐾🌻🐾

kreativekristen@grace4d I’m ok … my printer is not working but I finally found a print shop that ships and doesn’t over charge me , so just going out once a week to print and ship , as long as it’s not raining that will work for me , so dog yet but I’m being patient … ;)

grace4d@kreativekristen I used Cvs at 25 cents each when my printer went down. I’m not sure you have those in CA? So dog hunting yay! You are looking for a specific breed ? Ac rescue? My sweet puppy tried to eat my iPad and actually did eat some of the leather covering but shattered the screen & broke my camera & turn on button. That’s a $150 minimum fix not sure I’m wanting to spend it! The joy of being a fur parent!😂🌻🐾🐾

grace4d@xanadutn the vet said it’s healthier if we let the hormones develop for her. I’ve always fixed my pets right away as most do. There are diapers lol but nothing will deter a male dog that’s for sure! She’s so precious & feisty too. She’s still scared of anything loud- I imagine that early experience may always be with her? I’ve been struggling w my health lately & she keeps me company. How are you doing?🐾🐾🐾

grace4d@xanadutn aww thank you! It’s been busy around here with school letting out & more. I haven’t had time to update—- Bailey is doing well (49 lbs). We’ll soon will see Atlas after she is out of heat. I can’t believe how much spaying has gone up! 6 years ago I paid $40 for male neuter & vet is asking $800 for her (basic mb more) so I’m going to have to raise the money 4 that! It’s better 4 her in the long run. Hope you are well!🌻🌻🌻🤗

grace4d@mrsmcrz 🥰 she is very special — tho she’s still a big chicken at times! Still chewing everything & even went into heat. Vet wanted to wait until after that to spay her. A fence is going up in our back area now so she can be free of the leash. She sure loves to run & play! Hope this finds you well. hope you had great vacay/ time off!😀🌻🌻🌻

grace4d@mrsmcrz Hello! Bailey is still very much a puppy! She wears me out but I love it! She’s 50+ lbs & loves to eat, play, play then sleep. Getting Sadie our 2nd rescue helped as she’s a bit older. They play & socialize well tho Sadie taught Bailey how to chase cars forcing us to put up a fence. She is a joy- always happy. She now loves to ride in vehicle.

grace4d@mrsmcrz We now have 2 cats too as I took my mother’s cat & my mom passed away 12-28 so I was back & forth a lot. Bailey just wants to play e the cats too😂 How are you doing! Update me!
