Medieval metal helmet/conversation piece

Metal helmet, medieval style. I purchased this helmet at an estate sale a number of years ago and just now found it. I say that because I’ve had so much packed after many years of marriage and not needing to get a lot of stuff out of boxes marked decor. I did not even wash it off. This needs a good cleaning a thorough metal cleaning rust cleaning. When I bought it, I wish I could’ve had a picture from that day because it was in phenomenal shape, but I felt sad once I saw it after unpacking. I know nothing about it other than it being a medieval style or look. Very unique though. Almost 11 1/2 inches tall, 11 inches deep and 8 3/4 wide.
