Hello: Thank you for your interest. Regarding the "expiration date", if you look at the photo of the back, on the bottom right you will see what looks like a little jar with "6M" in the jar. According to Maybelline (which I found on Google), ""6M" means the product is good for about six months after opening." I hope this is helpful.
