Matisse Renoir Copper Turquoise Enamel 1950's Clip Back Earrings Midcentury

These Vintage earrings are a mixture of copper and enamel that appealed to the midcentury consumer seeking the stylish copper pieces. Renoir created a process to keep Copper from tarnishing. These earrings are from this period and show a little wear on the edges of the enamel. The measurements are 1.25" x .5". The Hallmark Matisse was only used on the enamel pieces from the 1950's.
