Item is a 2 piece set I have put together. I absolutely loved the colour of this pair of big ruffles from Matilda Jane, size 6. I couldn't find anything I loved with them until I stumbled across this dress (Hopscotch Designs) in a consignment store, the colours were a perfect match IMO. The dress is a girls size 3 but the buttons way overlapped the fabric in the back. I had my mother, (who is a seamstress) custom remake the top of the dress to fit my daughter and the dress became the ruffled matching top she wore with these MJ ruffles. I have enclosed pictures of the seam work on the top as well as measurements in photos. Unfortunately, I never took her picture in this outfit, Mom fail, I know after all the work we put into it, but I absolutely loved it. The only flaw I see, besides wrinkles, is there is a slight separation at the bottom of the seam where the belt comes off the top on one side. I honestly never noticed until looking it over to post for selling. I hope you love it as much as I do, it has such great colours. Set is from a non-smoking, cat friendly home.
