emptyblue Hi - could you share more pictures of the altered dress worn? Having a hard time imagining how the dress will look after alteration since the waistline now seems much higher. Thank you!

insafm224 @emptyblue hi! Thanks for your message. I added two more fully body pictures to the listing. The waistline actually did not change from the original version. Please let me know if you have any other questions :)

lovem3l @insafm224 Hello! May you take a close-up pictures of the neckline and sleeves? I want to see how the alterations look to see if it'll be possible to undo it.

insafm224 @lovem3l thanks for your question! It might be difficult to undo the alterations unless you are willing to get it altered again.

lovem3l @insafm224 Hello, thank your for getting back to me. I'm willing to get it re-altered. But I want to see how they did your alterations to the original fabric of the sleeves and neckline. May you post more pics of that?

shoptaypm I’ve read mixed opinions on the fit for Marchesa Dresses...some say they run big, some say they run small. I’ve looked at the sizing charts but with my measurements I could be anywhere from a 2 - 6. As someone who wore this for a photo shoot I was hoping you might have more insight? Any advice would be appreciated!

insafm224 @scotandtay thanks for your question! It was true to size for me! No alterations were done for sizing.

orvies_closet Hi what is the waist measurement?

orvies_closet
orvies_closet Also, could the cap sleeves be pushed to off shoulder placement? Obviously it won’t look like the original but wondering if they’re loose enough to at least push down.

insafm224 @orvies_closet hi! My waist measurement is 27.5 inches and it fit very well. It does stretch so can allow for a few inches larger waist.

insafm224 @orvies_closet yes, it can definitely be pulled more off the shoulder. My seamstress altered it to be off the shoulder (not quite as much as the original), but even the altered dress is intended to be worn more off the shoulder.

juno8404 Hi, how did you gain the extra original lace to add on the chest part?

julethegem What is the fabric content? You said there was a little stretch? Dumb question- is your waist measurement your actual measurement or inches on the dress? Thanks!
