The colors and detail are true Efrain design choice.
Efrain Lucero is an artist from the Mexican village of Mata Oritz in Northern Mexico. He learned to make pots in the late 1980's from Juan Andrew, His brother-in-law. These days he mostly produces polychrome pottery using graphite black clay body in modern shapes and old-Paquime and Mimbres-Revival designs. Sometimes he collaborates with his wife, Elicena Cota.
