Where to begin describing this necklace… All the pendants, 7 in total, were made by Navajo artist Dan Dodson & are all signed and stamped. All materials used in the creation of this necklace are either all natural gemstones ( from lapis to turquoise to carnelian & beyond!) sterling silver, or ceramic glass (bright red trade beads). It is absolutely gorgeous, photos cannot do it justice. Yes, it is heavy! Something best saved for special occasions or events as it is a bit much for all day wear.

The Dan Dodson pendant that you got for me was actually from this necklace. It snagged on the latch of my purse as I stood up from a restaurant booth. When I went to reattach it I realized that I didn’t really need it, and because it’s so heavy already, I just decided not to.

jazeebelle @shoelovinggirl Well that may be so, I have never been to Kim’s studio. I bought this from a high end Native American store in Park City, Utah. (where EVERYTHING IS EXPENSIVE) They had several styles of the three strand all at different prices. I happened to buy the most expensive one. It’s ok that you don’t understand that the artists sell their their wares at base price to retailers who then mark it up to whatever the market will bare.
