Massimo Dutti Abstract Dress Size 8 EUC

When I bought this Massimo Dutti dress in London, I genuinely believed I would exude taste. I would transform into a woman who attends gallery openings uninvited, collects obscure pottery, and has a closet full of functional shoes. 

But when I put it on, I mainly felt like someone who hasn’t experienced joy since 2014. Probably because I was two decades younger than the target demographic for this pattern and fit. 
 This dress looks like it has a favorite NPR program and corrects people on the pronunciation of “Renaissance.” It’s about as tasteful as English breakfast. It was clear that we needed to part ways. Despite my negative reactions to this dress, hopefully it can find someone who will do this justice at a PTA meeting, or arts council budget discussion or while perusing a small-town book shop. ✨ DETAILS + FIT
