"Mason Jarred", by Brynn Rothberg, acrylic, 2022

This piece, a painting about the size of the average hard cover novel, is of a single dandelion in a Mason jar, blocked off by those like it, its water source, and with a worse situation as its heat is magnified by the glass from the light of the sun. There are opportunities for it in its life, short or long, but the question is how it approaches and handles its situation. (Exact measurements to be provided, I haven't had the opportunity to check)
