Vintage Coated Handbag Fabric by Mary Englebrit MAN OF THE HOUR (santa) with Leather braided handles in British Tan. Made by Nordic House Designs of New York, this bag is timeless. Mary Englebrit introduced us to her art work in the mid 1980's and held reign with her characters until the late 90's. I actually purchased one of her very first birthday cards in John Wayne Airport in the 80's while on a business trip. Have been in love with her characters and the stories they tell every since. This bag has the whimscial Santa as the MAN OF THE HOUR . . . in various poses. You can look at this artwork for an hour and still see something new each time you change the scene. Guaranteed to be a topic of conversation at Christmas gatherings. The lining is a cotton fabric in black. There is one zippered pocket on the back wall of the bag.
