Marshall Field's Vintage Frango Mint Chocolates Mercury Glass Glitter Ornament

Green Marshall Field's Frango Mint Chocolates ornament with silver accents. Here's a vintage Marshall Field's FRANGO MINT mercury glass Christmas ornament in a dark forest green satin finish. The front has embossed lettering in both white and mint green that's been sprinkled with white glitter which reads: "Marshall Field's FRANGO Mint Chocolates," with a flourish on the letter "R" that ends in a small mint leaf. Its silver finish metal cap is attached and in like-new condition. My photos don't do justice to the sparkly white raised lettering, but this is really an eye-catching collectible ornament. Frango Mints were acquired in 1929 from a Seattle company by Marshall Field's department store. They became iconic to Chicago, and were often given as special gifts treats at the holidays.
