MARCO A. OVIEDO BRONZE, Kissing Lovers Man Woman Sculpture Rare 15 Of 75 Marco Antonio Oviedo was born on June 11th, 1948 and died February 11th, 2023. He was a visionary Santero and award-winning Spanish Market Artist and ran a foundry and gallery, Oviedo Carvings and Bronze, in Chimayo, New Mexico. From the late seventies he interpreted New Mexico religious folk art styles and southwest designs in his creations. This piece depicts two lovers kissing. Their arms embrace to form a heart shape. The man also has a heart of gold. These lovers will sit on the edge of a shelf with support or lie back. Their slightly splayed legs end in points and expose their anatomically correct nether regions. Please review pictures to make sure this is appropriate for you and your space.
