No holes, rips, etc. The color is a raspberry type color - very pretty and bright. Floral lining, optional chain strap, zipper pocket inside, two open pockets inside. This bag has lots of room inside. I did remove some dust and you might find a little more, but it wipes off very easily because of the patent leather.
