Beautiful nylon and leather trim backpack from Marc Jacobs! This is NWT and has never been opened up for use! The color is black and the quilting is completely on trend. As shown on the tag this was $200. Great deal for an unused designer item! I bought this one for my Mom and she decided it was not for her- last one!

weyan @jess_01 it depends on the size of your laptop and supplies. This is not a full size book bag so not great for heavy items. I am able to put my laptop and folders though. It sounds like plenty of room for you items!

weyan @apig It’s about 14x 14x 5. It is a medium size so big enough for daily essentials and a laptop. It probably is small for a lot of binders and books though. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

weyan @nes007 if you found it on sale you should grab it! I bought this from the Marc Jacobs boutique in FL and it was $200 as listed on the price tag. I don’t know what the differences are with the Saks one but I don’t see this one online. This is thicker with a quilted material and not a thin nylon one!

tlovoy Can you tell me what the top handle is made of? It doesn’t appear to be leather. Also, you mention it is not nylon in one of your comments above, yet in the description it indicates it is..

weyan @tlovoy Hi there! I believe the handle at the top of the bag is leather but I don’t see on the tag what the handle is made of. The shoulder straps are nylon just like the rest of the bag. I reviewed the previous comments and am not sure which one you are referring to but I don’t think I said the top handle is not leather! Sorry if there is any misunderstanding!

tlovoy Hi there! In your post on Jan 7 you indicate the bag is thicker quilted material and not nylon. That’s what I could use clarification on. Also the top handle, of the ones I’ve seen you can definitely tell it is not leather. That is one of the deciding factors for me. Could you possibly post a close up picture for me of the handle and the material? Thanks!

weyan @tlovoy Oh! I gotcha! Yes, I was responding to another person who was telling me about the backpack being sold at Saks. The one that was on sale was a thin nylon bag- just the nylon material in one layer and it was a different style completely (3 zippers). I was saying this backpack is thicker- it is nylon but it has padding between the outside layer and the inner layer. The handle could certainly be a synthetic to look like leather- I’ll grab a pic when I get home for you!
