smcilrath When ever you get an opportunity, may I have the calve circumference and see a pic of top inside of shoe (part that ultimately touches knee)? I’m hoping I can squeeze my huge calves in it lol

tracielynne @smcilrath Morning. I have large calfs as well so I had these professionally altered with elastic added on both sides of the back zippers. Cost me about $200. If memory serves me correctly my calfs are about 16 inches but I’ll measure the boots this evening. Not only can I zip them all the way up, I can tuck my jeans in as well.

Like literally I see so many gorgeous heels on here and I think this is by far one of my favorite boots I have seen. The fact that these are boots with yours I might be able to do it with a bunch of practice but I’m 42 and haven’t done it goes far so I’m thinking it’s gonna be a little bit of a challenge, LOL!But he’s also are not my size. creitler I'm very interested in these boots. Normally I have dancers calves, but I have recently been ill. Do you know if it is possible to remove the elastic should it prove to not be needed?

tracielynne @creitler thx for your interest. I don’t know if the elastic can be removed, but I’m thinking a professional shoe repair shop can do so. I wore these boots once and it was a disaster! The combination of them being 3 sizes too big and the heels being way too high was way too much for me to handle - lost my balance!
