Mark: The base clearly shows the MB Manning Bowman hallmark (a stylized
"MB" with a bow and arrow figure), used by Manning Bowman & Co. of Meriden, Connecticut.
Material: Pewter or chrome-plated metal (they made both types during the Art Deco and Mid-Century periods).
Design Details:
Scalloped edges with smooth flowing lines characteristic of late Art
Deco styling.
Central finial (knob) with a stacked sphere design and a reddish-brown glass or
