Malachite Ring set in Sterling Silver size 7.5

Malachite Ring formerly an earring from a set from a tribe of Native Americans in southwestern Colorado. The details of the setting of the stone are very good and well set. I bought the earrings at a nice shop and paid more for them as I was looking for Malachite. Underneath it states “Whitehorse Sterling”. This signifies the Chief of the tribe at times. Especially as it’s not hand written. Though I don’t know 100 percent. I have found the opposite to be true. Please let me know if you need more information.
