Hi there :) I was wondering if youād be so kind as to please measure the length of the insole and the widest part of the ball of foot area up front on this plant form clog for me? This would be so incredibly helpful in determining if these will fit me or not. Thank you sooo much!!!! šš»š

Hi there :) Sorry to bug you, just wanted to see if you got my message to please measure okay. Also one more questionāDo you find that they stay on your foot well enough as you walk, like it would be hard to just walk out of them or have them fall off without a sling back? I have neuropathy in my right foot and in some backless shoes, I can just step right out of them with that foot š

@starrbach sorry for the delay, Iām just super busy this weekend and havenāt had time to measure them yet.
They were fairly snug on me, so they were not flying off my feet the few times I wore them :) but they are a mule so they are certainly not fling off proof š
Iāll try to get to them tomorrow š¤

@erinthirteen oh thank you so so much!!!

@starrbach ok, so the interior length of the insole is 9 5/8ā long (I used a soft measuring tape and made sure that it was appropriately settled onto the contours of the shoe)
And the interior width of the widest area where the ball of the foot would sit is about 3ā across.
This is a all 100% genuine leather upper and leather lining, so it will brake in and form to (within reason) the wearers foot shape.
My foot is about 3 1/2ā across and they fit me snuggly, but they did fit.

@erinthirteen youāre wonderful! So I need the length to be 9.75ā and 3ā across is quite narrow. My feet are actually 4ā so in need shoes that are 3.25 at the narrowest to usually 3.5ā. Iām just concerned these are going to be too small all around and Iām so sad about it because the braided style of them are gorgeous!!!

@erinthirteen I also saw that youāve made a lot of notes on uncomfy clog brands. I just discovered a clog company online called Famalore that looks like theyāll be more comfortable than the wood versions š¤ Maybe we should give those a try

@erinthirteen I just ordered now the Famolare āClog Heavenā style in honey for an every day run around casual lower clog to be safe and comfy. But thereās also much higher cute ones like āDouble Visionā and āBut Whatā at https://www.famolare.com

@erinthirteen and also check out the vintage versions at various online shops. Some really cute intricate braided ones!

@starrbach out of my absolute hoard of wooden shoesš
ones that have a built in leather insole definitely tend to be more comfortable. But most of the classic sweed brands are not thatš I have a pair of MIA āanjaā clogs thatās are wooden insole and fairly comfortable, but the sizing is weird (I wear a 37 in that style)

@starrbach but yeah Iām 43 and my feet have less and less tolerance for my love of wooden heelsšš© try searching for āFloggsā clogs, I donāt think they are made anymore, but they are still floating around on resale sites, Super comfy thick foam insole thatās part of the design of the shoes.

@erinthirteen I saw your note on the Floggs before and definitely keep checking them out in to try to find cuter vintage styles in them. Iām 44, so right with ya on what my feet arenāt allowing me to comfortably get away with any more and then I just read this whole article about how wooden clogs are actually the worst thing we can wear on our feet to exasperate issues (which I have of plenty( and thatās when I went with the Famolareās rubber soled versions š
