@rrk1996 I would say they are pretty true to size. I typically wear a 25 or 26 at madewell depending on the style. I’m looking at reviews on madewell website and majority say true to size with a few noting they run a smidge big.

How do you get 18” for leg openings? Do you mean 8”?
