Madewell Haydon Wool & Cashmere Sample Coat - Size 2X - NWOT

If new to shop, only pre-consumer (not previously owned) recycled (by brands themselves) textiles&garments are sold. This includes samples or finished pieces, some w/defects imposed to prevent resale at full retail. I mend defects & document before & after for full transparency. You can see examples of my mends through the IG link in bio. Retail:$328 B/c this is a sample, defects were imposed. This involved disconnecting left shoulder seam, 2 cuts on the left upper sleeve (including inside sleeve lining) & the opening of seam at inside center back lining. All have been mended - see pics for before & after repair. This took just under 11 hours to repair. For repair references, pls see review here for the MW Alonzo wool coat. Versatile coat w/a nod to the '70s blanket coat. Slightly oversized to layer over sweaters, 2 button front closure, wide lapels & 2 flap pockets on the outside (plus one for your phone inside). Single vent. Regular fit. 68% NATIVA™ certified traceable and sustainable wool, 20% polyamide,, 10% cashmere, 2% polyester. Length: 42” Shoulder to shoulder: 20” Sleeve length: 22” Pit2pit: 27” Hips flat: 28.5” This was submitted by the company to a textile recycling program to divert from landfill & extend life-cycle. Other than repaired defects, excellent condition.
