Madame Alexander restrung 8" Gretel Brinker doll. Her eyes open and close easily. She has Hans' silver skates. I also have the Hans Brinker doll that goes with this, sold separately. Madame Alexander dolls are held together with rubber bands. Over the years the bands become stretched or brittle. Don't risk buying a doll that isn't restrung. It may become floppy or break in shipping. All of my dolls have strong and tight bands. I also restring Madame Alexander dolls.
