Madame Alexander restrung 8" Germany doll with stand. Her eyes open and close easily. The elastic on her hat is a little loose. Madame Alexander dolls are held together with rubber bands. Over the years the bands become stretched or brittle. Dolls that are not restrung may become floppy or break in shipping. All of my dolls have strong and tight bands.
