Madame Alexander 8" Doll 1990 MRDC Southern Elegance Robert Gamble Plantation

The Madame Alexander 8" Doll from 1990 in the Southern Elegance series by Robert Gamble is a limited edition doll.  It features a dark brown straight hair, brown eyes, and a light complexion. Robert Gamble owned the Gamble Plantation in Florida, one of the only surviving plantations in the state.  He built it but because of financial ruin had to sell it.  This plantation, like many others, thrived off of human rights violations.   In good used condition.  No box, no tags, sorry.  Some scuffs on the bottom of his shoes. The doll is made of hard plastic and represents the Manatee River Doll Club of Bradenton, Florida franchise, showcasing the beautiful craftsmanship of Madame Alexander.
