I only used this for display. **Due to the size and fragile nature of this large item, this cannot be bundled or shipped with other items. This tea kettle is in great condition, with only wear showing on one side of brass handle (which happens to brass with time). Certainly doesn’t deter from beauty or functionality. See next to last picture posted in gallery. Hand-painted with our signature black and white checks over a heavy-gauge steel underbody, it also serves to beautify your stovetop even when it's not in use. DIMENSIONS: 5.5" base dia., 4.5" lid dia., 7.5" tall (top of knob), 10.5" tall (top of handle), 2 qt. capacity. MATERIALS: Heavy-gauge steel underbody, hand-glazed and painted with Courtly Check decoration. Pieces may vary due to the handmade nature of each product. CARE AND USE: Before using your kettle for the first time, remove all labels and wash thoroughly. Use over medium flame on gas range, medium to high settings on electric ranges and low to medium settings on ceramic top ranges. Never boil dry, as this could cause damage to both your kettle and cooktop. Do not use on induction cooktops. Hand-wash with mild soap and dry immediately to preserve the finish. Do not microwave. If it becomes chipped, cracked, or broken, do not use for boiling.
