carrievridge Hello! This jacket is gorgeous! I am typically a size medium in most jackets, and this one is a small. Does it run oversize or larger than a 'usual' small? I've never purchased a Mackage jacket before, so I need help in determining if it will fit. Do you have the specifications on the jacket? Or the tags even they are are detached? Care instructions? __alistyles Hello! Thanks for reaching out! I totally get it and happy to provide any details you'd like! It's definitely oversized... on me there's a few inches that hang off my body on either side (it's not fitted at the bottom). I have two of their jackets and this one is definitely more of an oversized fit on me. I honestly think it would fit a size medium person just fine. It's so lightweight yet you are instantly warmer 30 seconds after putting it on.

__alistyles @carrievridge hi! I added some photos of the tags and additional photos. The collar is definitely Sherpa. The black on the houndstooth feels felt like but there is no felt listed on the tags so just me I guess. :). There is a pull cord in the bottom to adjust the waist suppression or not and an interior pocket as well.

carrievridge Since this would be my first Mackage purchase, can you tell me if the brand typically runs small, large or true to size? If this one is an oversize fit, maybe a small would fit me, as my typical size in most jackets is a medium. If I buy it and it is too small, may I return it?

__alistyles @carrievridge hello! I am so sorry for my delay - had a number of personal things to take care of keeping me away. The measurement across the bottom from side to side is 20 inches and so is the drop from shoulder to the bottom. Any other measurements you’d like??

carrievridge No problem! Yes, I'd like more measurements. I need to be more sure since you are not sure if you would take a return. I would need underneath the armpit to the other armpit, so like all the way across the chest. I would also like the sleeve length from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the sleeve. I'm concerned that the jacket might be too small for me, but you are saying that this particular small is a bit oversized, so more like a medium regularly, so this could be close.

__alistyles @carrievridge hello! Armpit to bottom of jacket is 13.25 inches and shoulder to bottom of sleeve is 25.5 inches! Armpit to armpit across chest is 21 inches!

carrievridge @__alistyles Frok the measurements you provide, it SEEMS as though this jacket will fit me. If it doesn’t, $450 is a lot to spend for a jacket that doesn’t fit right. Will you accept a return if it doesn’t fit right? If not, can you consider lowering your price?

carrievridge @__alistyles I think of your 3 proposed options, I like option 1 the best. If it doesn’t fit right I would pay to ship it back to you within 10 days for a full refund. Since the summer months are right around the corner, it might be a good time to let it go now but I would really need your word in writing that I would be allowed to return it in its exact same condition within 10 days of when I actually receive it. Do we have a deal?

The more I think about it though, I don’t think a return makes sense because Poshmark take 20% plus I am paying for your shipping. So even if you were to sell it back to me, we would be hit with 20% on both sides! Plus shipping there for me and back to me for you. :(. I really want you to be happy but don’t think it’s worth a potential $100 loss for me. What about $425 final sale??

carrievridge Hi there! Thank you for giving it more thought and getting back to me. In a prior message you will willing to come down to $400 as a final sales price. Will you still honor that? Most Poshmark sellers offer the option to return their purchase within 14 days. I think Poshmark also guarantees that a buyer can return something and get a full refund if not completely satisfied. It would really be taking a 'leap of faith' for me to buy something for $400 with the chance of it not fitting.

carrievridge I didn't realize Poshmark takes such a huge cut from your profit margin. That is rough and a lot! But imagine how I would feel spending $400 something not fitting right with no option to return it. I really love the jacket, I truly do! I'm just not sure if I can be comfortable not even having the option to return it to you. Paying the shipping is totally fine, but without your ok that I can return it if it doesn't fit, I'm having a very hard time making my decision.

If you get something that is not what the person posted or in very different condition you can file a complaint and if approved everyone would get a discount but otherwise it’s not an option on this site and I am adhering to it. I will drop the price to $425 if that helps but this is my best and final offer. Thanks!
