MY WHY?

This is my why. Almost a year ago, I started selling on Poshmark — not as a hobby, not for fun — but because my daughter got sick. Caroline was a teacher. Strong. Dedicated. And then stress attacked her body. Few autoimmune diseases. Stomach ulcers. Food allergies overnight. Her own immune system turning against her. She had to quit her job. Not because she wanted to — but because her body gave her no choice. And my son, my Chris — who has fought schizoaffective disorder for years — was finally brave enough at 32 to step out of isolation and enroll in baking classes. He is finishing his second semester now. He inspires me every single day. Watching him try, watching him show up, watching him build confidence — that is everything. So I work. I sell. I push. Even with fibromyalgia. Even with chronic pain. Even on the days my body begs me to stop. Because my children are fighting battles you can’t always see. And I refuse to let them fight alone. I am not just selling clothes. I am helping my daughter heal. I am paying for my son’s future. I am building stability in the middle of uncertainty. Pain does not stop a mother. Fear does not stop a mother. Exhaustion does not stop a mother. This is my why.
