From July 4 to 5, 2025, a large and devastating flood event took place in and downstream from the Texas Hill Country, in the U.S. state of Texas. During the flood, water levels along the Guadalupe River rose quickly and significantly when 5–11 inches (130–280 mm) of rain fell in just a few hours. As a result, at least 80 people died, with at least 41 reported missing many of them young girls who were at Camp Mystic on a Christian retreat summer camp. 💔💔💔💔 You can help and donate to these organizations.
