Like and save for later
Living apart during a pandemic with closed borders and then awaiting govn't approval is nearly at an end. We got three weeks together in early 2022 after 2 years of no allowed travel!! Then another two weeks in November! We started our nessesary paperwork in 2022 and just over 14 months later we got the required grant approval!! You’ll find lots of my personal collection being added into my shop. Along with this being my full-time income, I’m selling to help fund the move (airfare, shipping costs, time off while job hunting down under) This is a bookmark to my shop as well as a nod to the universe, good things can and will happen. Light follows darkness. If you are on a journey and feeling like it will never happen, you are not alone - keep going, you really never know what day will be the one that your life changes.

Randomly stumbled on this in a search and just wanted to wish you the very best! I’m also with an Aussie but our plan is to remain here. Hope you’re reunited soon and everything works out!

Just wanted to say that I completely get you! Married to an Aussie ( Gold Coast) came back to US to be with family for a bit and got stuck here when Covid hit a few weeks later & borders closed. Haven't seen him since then ( Thank God for Whatsapp) anxiously awaiting borders to reopen & no quarantine needed ( who can afford an extended hotel stay)?! Hang in there!

@dafnopulos so similar with timing omg!!! Flying back to the US in March 2020 was so bizarre, not knowing what would come of it. And waiting for borders to open, yes ♥️♥️ My guy finally got his vaccination finished just yesterday, hope yours is safe as well. It’s really like two worlds right now. Thank you for messaging, it means a lot. Maybe we’ll both be on a flight in 2022 then if not sooner ♥️

@wellredwardrobe Right? It's so frustrating, it feels like NZ and AU are the last places on earth to reopen! I was flying back and forth because I have sons here. Who could have guessed a virtual apocalypse would take place? Crossing everything they reopen soon - sounds like they are getting closer ( possibly 2021), if the state governments would stop arguing. Glad yours is well ❤. Keep in touch x

How wonderful. I had no idea people were going through this still. So happy for you. Gonna check your closet to see if I can help!

@rjstowell12 you are so sweet!! I just posted at update in my social media that the visa application is being reviewed, this is uncanny timing! It’s been 10 months since we applied, but our yes should be the next step after they get my FBI clearance and a few more essays! Borders are open now, but I can’t travel there until they approve my Visa. Thank you so much for commenting, it’s really made my night ♥️
