Adore these shoes but I am pairing down my shoes. Love the look prefect for dressing anything up but works great with costumes. These come from a Spain company that makes gorgeous shoes out of leather and natural tanning processes. Originally the shoes were tan and black but all black was really what I wanted so I dyed them. For the most part I did a good job but some dye ran under the shoe so you can see it on the soles. Not a real issue since you walk on them. Since my feet are so skinny I left the tongue the original color. The laces are real usable laces but I never used them. I could slip these on easily. I would add shoe oil every season to waterproof them but haven’t in a few years. If you are worried about that definitely give it a new coat. These are in amazing shape. I don’t see any scuffs in the leather other than the natural imperfections.
