sweetpeadngrbtn @sara_chs1 I measure flat, then I will hold the left side of the waistband tightly and lightly pull on the other side,holding the tape measure to it. Some pants might give an extra couple of inches. Then I add a meas like 17”-20” (with stretch) to my listing. I mostly do it with tops because a top laying flat will be like maybe 19”….cont.

sweetpeadngrbtn For myself, I find it helpful to know if the top will stretch enough to fit my 38DD chest or if I should take my hopes onto the next item. Depending on the item I add how much something will stretch if at all. Sometimes it’s an extra couple inches that will make all the difference in a top or prevent muffin top.
