Elegant vintage 1980s Monet earrings. These lovely earrings are a classic color combination of the 80's decade. Considered bold and aggressive, the red and black statement - and especially with gold color - is reminiscent of the 1980's power-dressing. Nothing flowery, feminine or dangling here. The earrings are dramatic in a blood red enamel with a swiel of black enamel and a gleaming goldtone teardrop shape and goldtone edges. The earrings are clip-ons and have the typical spoon-shaped Monet clip which makes them comfortable to wear. Signed on the back. 1.5" x 1" Very good condition - no flaws to note
