MID CENTURY 1960 Italian Modernist Cluster Ring In 18Kt Pearls Onyx

Italian cluster cocktail ring with pearls and onyx. This is a substantial over sized cocktail ring, created in Italy during the late mid-century period, back in the 1960's. This ring was designed as a domed cluster, carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished and textured finishes. The ring is embellished with a great assortment of twenty-seven gemstones, such a sugarloaf cut onyx and cultured white pearls. Onyx: Mounted in the center in a bezel setting, with 1 round sugarloaf cabochon cut (14 x 14 x 10 mm) of a natural black onyx with an estimate weight of about 12 carats. Pearls: Mounted in wires settings, with an arrangement of 26 cultured white round pearls of 3 mm. Weight: 16.20 Grams, (10.40 Dwt). Size: 7.25 and may be easily sized up or down on special request. Measurements: 27 mm by 25 mm (1.06 x 0.98 Inches) and raise 16 mm over the finger. Hallmarks: Unmarked, electronically tested for the assay of the 18kt gold.
