Lol I go to church of god of prophecy I think but Im not really a specific denomination I don't guess I believe in god Jesus and the holy ghost and that Jesus died for our sins on the cross i guess I would be considered christian i just believe in spreading love of Jesus Christ bc it is truly beautiful and perfect love ❤

And that's neat studying the women of the bible after I read the bible through I've been in a funk of where to start next and have to get back on Track maybe I should start that! The women in the Bible r awesome to study-they are just like us; they get scared, they get jealous, they are brave, fiercely protective of their kids, and want their men to love them! I started with Esther. There r so many we don't even hear about often like the awesome woman Jael! I have a great study Bible and love reading the footnotes and what goes on behind the scenes and explains why they do what they do. What I really want is a good commentary- I like to study, I ask Him to show me new things and teach me new lessons each time. If you ever want to talk just hit me up.

@brownbethany75 I will have to do that! It's rare you find someone that's interested in stuff like that! I'm still using my teenage bible lol bc it has historical facts and goes through and highlights the promises and makes it interesting! Do you remember what book you started with?

@hgd420 I started with Esther! Brave girl! I love looking back at the things I highlighted, my little writings and promises-always with the dates written beside. My Bible is literally falling apart. I am also reading a book called "Shame Off You" by Alan d wright. What freedom from all the shame I've carried.

@hgd420 I love Max Lucado! And I have Woman you are loosed by td like to hear him preach. Yes the book is wonderful- it shows you how to get rid of shame and what it is and does- diff between shame and conviction-one draws u to him and the other makes you want to hide. How to walk and live a life of forgiveness by our wonderful Lord!

@brownbethany75 that sounds awesome!! I'm definitely going to look for that book please pray for me that the light of Jesus Christ will shine in my life and help others also to come to Jesus Christ! And to help me find my voice bc sometimes I don't like to talk in front of people bc I'm insecure and get nervous!! I've been trying really hard with Jesus's help to work on my thinking bc its very negative about myself and I'm basically doing the devils job for him! Lol so I'm slowly trying to build my confidence up in who i am in christ. It's so nice to meet someone who likes reading books and studying the bible!

@hgd420 What a divine appt. between us! God truly loves us! You know who else was insecure like that-Moses! Yep, he even begged God to send someone else! But God works in our lives. I will def. pray for you. Some things that helped me, a former neg. thinker, is speaking things outloud, like Gods promises or " I am forgiven" and " I have the mind of Christ". I had my husband keep me accountable and renounced every negative statement that came out of my mouth-and at first it was literally EVERYTHING! The Bible says "for out of the mouth the heart speaks" and I have found that changing my" speak" God has changed my heart! Rem. it's the Word that washes our minds and changes us inside out so read the Bible- even if its averse a day and just meditate on that! There are so many things God can teach us by one verse. Practice makes perfect goes the saying so u get braver each time. And as u talk to Him and read about Him He will give u that glow, that shine! Trust me! All we have to do is ask God: HELP!

@brownbethany75 that is so true I need to start getting my boyfriend to hold me accountable for the things I say about myself he can't stand it when I'm negative unfortunately even if you are just negative about yourself it still affects the relationships you have with other people! My teacher at church was actually speaking about negative thinking and how our thought process works and about how society labels us! I've realized that the world god the enemy and myself are constantly talking in my mind and I've been listening to what the world and Te enemy says about me instead of what god says about me!! So I began to try to change my thinking and it was exhausting I.honestly didn't realize how negative I was about myself allllll the time!! So I believe god will definitely help me with all this! ☺ I think god set this up!! Lol 😉

@hgd420 no, but I wasn't really seriously following Jesus, and boy do I wish we had! Went through it bad but God has done a miracle in our marriage and love each other now more than ever

@hgd420 it is a cliche but I would say an absolute must. Helps so much to understand each other. We went through counseling afterward right before we almost divorced and it saved our marriage! Ask around for a good Christian counselor-it does make a diff.

I am a new praise dance instructor (for my church) and I have an awesome group of young minister's in training!! Pls pray for my strength as I go farthur in my walk. . . It is easy to love God and to live for him but if we r not clothed in the FULL armour of God... the things people say and do toward us can really throw us off... I keep finding myself in these uncomfortable situations where other believers act like they are better than me and I cant stand it lol but GOD is so good... he allows us to stumble upon sisters and brothers all around the world who can reach HIM for us when we r feeling week.
