This lovely ceramic oblong planter is very characteristic of mid century modern design. Popular from the 1940s to the 1980s, it has a scalloped edge and what is referred to as a drip glaze style due to the way the spring green glaze flows over a lighter cream base. While you may like to use it for succulents or a houseplant. It's unique design makes it suitable as a decorative console bowl or catch all dish. This piece is unbranded, lots from this time period had stickers and had fallen off. It is similar in design to Beauceware from Quebec or Hull pottery from USA. It is in excellent condition. Size 10 inches long, 4 inches wide, 3.25 inches high. Non smoking pet free home.
