MCM Vintage 1960's Fred Press Cheese Board Apple Design Charcuterie Board

Fred Press was born in Boston, MA in 1919. He studied at Vesper George School of Art, was the founder of the sculpture collection Contemporary Arts, Inc. In the 1950s, Press moved to New York City where he turned his artistic skills towards glassware and giftware. He was one of the most versatile and prolific of America's 20th Century designers. His product designs won awards from New York's Museum of Modern Art. His unique products and glassware remain popular today.
